Trip to Changbaishan on North Korean Border (Pt. 2, Paektusan, West Peak)
Part 2 of my Changbaishan trip.
This goes to the West Peak. It is supposedly a better view of Tianchi, a bit more of a hike, and fewer tourists. Fewer tourists is true, but my visit was during pretty grim weather and I don't think the view from both is that different. Would recommend North Peak for ease of travel!
A couple of weeks ago I went to China to visit Changbaishan in China on the North Korean border. In Korean, this mountain is called 'Paektusan' and is sacred across the Korean Peninsula (in both North and South Korea).

Yeonpyeongdo, or Yeonpyeong Island, is a South Korean island just 11 kilometers from North Korea. It is situated very close to the Northern Limit Line (NLL, the maritime North-South Korean border) and has had a tumultuous history, with conflicts in 1999, 2002, and 2010. Because of its location, all the islands around you belong to North Korea, and there are designated spots & observatories to p...

The Bamboo Sea is a scenic postcard of China. It is very shocking. The air is very comfortable, and you can also taste bamboo delicacies and ancient buildings. I have been to the Bamboo Sea, and the landforms and scenery are indeed very unique. It is the Chinese version of the Grand Canyon, but it is full of bamboo forests and rivers, caves and aerial cable cars,Hollywood movie shooting base... I suggest you go on-site to travel and explore instead of reading the critical comments of Taiwanese people online. The Bamboo Sea scenery is unique to China and is a unique scenery of China, while the bamboo forest is not. Sichuan culture is very Thick and so is its food. This is why it has fascinated Hollywood and Disney many times Disney’s new animated films, Come With My Youth(Turning Red) and The Elemental, both have a lot of Sichuan elements The MEI MEI that accompanies my youth(Turning Red), MEI MEI is the red panda of Sichuan Elemental The fire element girl inside is Sichuan pepper culture SICHUAN style Disney animation MULAN Mulan Show in Disneyland Paris 2001 ruclips.net/video/vOhWUXqykOs/видео.html Mulan 2 - Groupe CGC 2017 ruclips.net/video/uBpdDs_2jI8/видео.html 1998 Mulan Parade 90S music ruclips.net/video/llhxjdCjfK0/видео.html Mulan 2 BGM music ruclips.net/video/g-aTLNL9Coc/видео.html Mulan 2 ICE SHOW 2010 ruclips.net/video/7Qf90d1vaig/видео.html Mulan 2 ICE SHOW 2011ruclips.net/video/ul4zHfxN_I4/видео.html Mulan II Lesson Number One Tai Chi Dance Tutorial ruclips.net/video/Y0tk-QT0sbw/видео.html Mulan Parade at Disneyland 1998 ruclips.net/video/q-mGGyyQWSU/видео.html ruclips.net/video/ZUI8Ts9i5ZA/видео.html Shanghai Disney ruclips.net/video/JSWJEL0Ms7s/видео.html 100% worth the experience! Lovely views in the border of North Korea (DPRK) amidst the current situations growing worse and possibility of WWIII could happen, especially the tensions amongst Korean Peninsulas recently like Putin's Visit to NK. And tbh, I am genuinely still waiting for Zoe to visit DPRK and see a new Songhwa Street in Pyongyang with newly built 80-storey skyscrapers and get a full lift ride to the top floor to oversee the city above. Speaking about North Korea, the ups and downs about social media is imminent, especially the propaganda vloggers like Song A and Yumi (with fake name Sally and Olivia) (with possibility of other vloggers with fake names like Alex and few others). You'll be easily figure it out at next video about internet concerns and rising trend of new NK Pop song went viral like Friendly Father recently and last-year's upgrading trend of North Korea Pop into look-like BTS & Blackpink styled concert with nationalistic looking like In This Sky On This Land by Jang Hang Ran kind of singer. You should explained it! Greets from Indonesia.

Honestly it's VERY cheap. The train from beijing is about the same as the flight cost (but you save on accommodation for the night since it's an overnight train). It's around $60 USD return. Nice hotels there are $20, I paid $10 per night. Still had nice big private room with bathroom and window. To get into the park it's around $10 usd. On my next vdeo next week I go on a private tour with a private driver & park entrance, that's about $70 usd total. So honestly, a pretty damn cheap holiday. Food is around $10 for a really great meal! It's very cheap in Changbaishan area compared to Beijing.
